Happy Apple Release Day!

You know the drill, Apple just released their 2025 update, so let’s dive right into what’s new for Fantastical and Cardhop on OS 26.

You’ll need Fantastical 4.1 and Cardhop 2.4, along with OS 26, so go ahead and get everything updated, we’ll wait right here …

All done? Then what are we waiting for?? Let’s dig right in!!

Puttin’ on the Ritz with Liquid Glass 🧊

Both Fantastical and Cardhop have been beautifully updated to the new Liquid Glass design on the Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Apple Vision Pro.

From dynamic icons to glass toolbars and menus, we think you will love our crisp new look in the apps!

We even freshened up Fantastical on the iPhone by moving the controls to the bottom of your screen for a cohesive experience across all iOS apps.

Working smarter, not harder, with Apple Intelligence and Fantastical’s parser

The Fantastical parser is more powerful than ever (who knew that was even possible!) with the addition of Apple Intelligence.

With the ability to create events and tasks from complex sentences, we’ve made it even easier to add items to your calendar without having to think through every detail.

You’ll be able to tell when Apple Intelligence is helping parse the information when you see the new rainbow glow around the parser. 🌈

You get a widget, and you get a widget … Everybody gets widgets!

We know how much y’all love your widgets, so we are excited to announce that Fantastical AND Cardhop widgets are now available on the Apple Vision Pro.

With plenty of options to choose from, and the new spatial option that allows you to integrate them directly into your environment, we know everyone will be able to find a widget (or 4) that is just right for the look you are going for.

For our watch aficionados, we didn’t forget about you! In Fantastical 4.1, we’ve added a Fantastical widget to the watch control center (or the action button on an Ultra), and when activated it will take you to the details of your next upcoming/current task or event in the Fantastical watch app.

Calendar on, calendar off

As a special surprise for ALL our Mac users, we have one final feature to announce that does not require installing macOS 26!

Starting in Fantastical 4.1, you can now quickly toggle calendars on/off for the active calendar set without having to open settings in the app.

Just right click on the calendar set name to pull up the new menu for an easy way to update the calendar set you are actively viewing!

Don’t worry! The original menu can still be accessed normally in the app

This is just the tip of the iceberg! There’s plenty more to discover in our new releases (what are you waiting for?!?), and our Support team is standing by for any questions you might have!

Enjoy!
