Another year has come and gone, and once again it’s time to reflect on the exciting changes we’ve made to Fantastical and Cardhop over the past 12 months.

Raise a glass to Liquid Glass! 🥂

In September, with the release of iOS 26 and macOS Tahoe, we rolled out a fresh new look for Fantastical and Cardhop thanks to the introduction of Liquid Glass.

Now rocking glass toolbars and menus, dynamic icons, and updated control locations in Fantastical iOS, both apps are ringing in the New Year with style! 

A new Dynamic Duo: Apple Intelligence + the Fantastical parser

The parser is one of the most powerful features in Fantastical, and we’ve upped the ante by adding Apple Intelligence to the mix.

Fantastical’s parser now has the ability to create events and tasks from complex sentences so you don’t have to spend time poring over every single detail.

You can type what you are thinking directly in Fantastical, or copy and paste that rambling text from the family group chat, and let the parser work its magic. 🪄

Even easier event creation? Yes, please!

Emails are a great way to communicate, but it can be time consuming to get event information from an email to your calendar correctly. Enter our Forward emails to Fantastical feature!

You can now forward emails from any email address that you have linked to your Flexibits Account to [email protected], and Fantastical will try to detect events or tasks to create on your calendar.

Once detected, you will see a notification show up in Fantastical that you can use to add, discard, or preview if you want to make changes to the event.

But wait… there’s more!

As always, we didn’t stop with the big items we mentioned above, and there are plenty of small features that made it in the apps including (but definitely not limited to):

• Improved VoiceOver support in Fantastical
