Meetings, gatherings, assemblies, get-togethers… no matter what you call them, we all have times where we collaborate with other people for work or just want to hang out with our friends and family to have a fun time.
Cue Fantastical Scheduling . . .
- Want to publish your availability and let others conveniently pick the date and time that works best for them? Openings has got you covered.
- Prefer to choose the dates and times that work best for YOU and let your invitees pick from those? Proposals is your new best friend.
But what about events that have a set date and time, where you’d like an accurate count of which invitees will be attending?
Now Fantastical has an option for that, too!
Introducing RSVP, the newest member of the Fantastical Scheduling platform. 💌
How does RSVP work (you might be thinking)?
Just create your event in Fantastical and enable the new RSVP Event Link option in the event details.
This will create a sharable link that you can send to your invitees letting them easily record their response.
When an invitee responds to your link with a Yes or Maybe response, they receive an email containing the .ics calendar file for the event so they can quickly add it to their calendar.
What settings are available for my RSVP links?
Glad you asked!
When you add an RSVP link to your event, there is a whole list of options you can personalize for each individual event.
Let your invitees have option to say they might be attending or remove that choice completely for a firm head count.
Set up your link so that phone numbers are required if you’ll need to contact attendees with further instructions before the event.
Choose to allow the invitee list to be seen by everyone attending or keep that information for your eyes only. 👀
You can even decide how you want to be notified about responses (after each individual response, or never, if you like to be surprised).
RSVP lets you control the availability of each link separately so you can keep that small pizza party with friends in your backyard from turning into a neighborhood bash, while making sure your upcoming book signing sells out at the local bookstore!
This sounds pretty cool, but does it work on all of my devices?
Indeed, it does.
You can create and edit RSVP links in Fantastical on your Mac, iPhone, iPad, or even hanging out on the moon with your Apple Vision Pro.
Once an RSVP link is added to your event, you will be able to access it in the event details on all devices, making it easy to invite an extra person (or 12) to your upcoming shindig.
What if I need help getting started?
We’ve got you covered! Check out our RSVP help documents on our website for a step-by-step guide to creating your very first RSVP event in Fantastical, or reach out to our friendly support team and we will be happy to walk you through the process.
As always, stay tuned. . . there are many other exciting new things coming soon from Flexibits!
